Sittason Family | Family Session in Downtown Lynchburg at Old City Cemetery

I was so excited about photographing the Sittason family session in downtown Lynchburg at Old City Cemetery! Jennifer first contacted me for some commercial photography work for her husband’s practice. I was excited that she also wanted to plan a family session with me! It was great to meet all the family together at Old City Cemetery for their session.

Since it was August, is was HOT! But we had a lot of fun together in spite of the heat. I absolutely love the way Jen planned everyone’s outfits. They weren’t too matchy and coordinated perfectly together with the blues and whites. This session in downtown Lynchburg at Old City Cemetery was great because the trees were full of leaves that sparkled with the sunlight coming through them. We walked around and took a variety of pictures with different family groupings. I especially like the portraits of the kids, which I know are so important. Kids grow up so fast, so capturing these moments of their lives while they are still living at home are very special.

It was so fun when we spent some time at the iconic swing at Old City Cemetery. We got some fun shots of the kids swinging and having fun. We got so many great laughs, especially when Jen was pushing her daughter on the swing, and she lost her shoe. And just because sometimes I like to add in a bit of extra fun, Jake and I brought along some bubbles to play with. I was a fun ending to their session. Everyone blew bubbles while I took pictures! The Sittason family is such a sweet family, and I loved their family session in downtown Lynchburg at Old City Cemetery very much! Enjoy these highlights from their session below!
