Kate and Regis’ wedding at Wolf Trap Farm in Gordonsville, Virginia was a beautiful, intimate wedding day! This wedding is different from all my others because it was my sister’s wedding, and my family was there the whole day! My sister wanted to make the wedding even more special, so they decided to get married on a Thursday because it was her birthday. I’m so excited to share these highlights from their wedding day. Kate’s bouquet was a beautiful arrangement of white hydrangeas, white roses, and pink roses. It was so classic and pretty. Regis’ family came from Canada for their wedding, which was very special. All the guys got ready together in the main house, while the girls did their hair and makeup in the little side cottage.
The vintage, country feel of Wolf Trap Farm is so enchanting. I loved taking pictures everywhere because of all the charm the farm has! Their wedding ceremony was held in the morning with a gorgeous backdrop of the mountain range behind them. Kate and Regis and our families cried tears during their sweet vows. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful as they exchanged rings. They stood in the midst of white flower petals. Since Regis is originally Canadian, Regis and their officiant spoke some of the ceremony in French, which was very romantic. After the ceremony and family formals, everyone went inside to celebrate with lunch, cake, and toasts.
The afternoon was spent celebrating with family and all the kids playing together. In the early evening we took their couple’s portraits and bridal portraits. The day was relaxed and fun and just perfect for an intimate wedding. Kate and Regis love each other very much, and I loved being able to photograph their wedding at Wolf Trap Farm. Congratulations, Kate and Regis!
